Job :

We are looking for an intermediate COBOL Analyst to strengthen our Application Maintenance team, responsible for application maintenance, functional support, and monitoring changes.
 

Functions and responsibilities

• Analyze incidents and anomalies reported by users or business teams.
• Identify the causes of malfunctions and propose appropriate solutions.
• Ensure the corrective and evolving maintenance of COBOL Mainframe applications.
• Analyze and modify existing programs in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
• Participate in processing and monitoring production incidents.
• Provide functional support to users and business teams.
• Analyze change needs and contribute to their implementation.
• Participate in writing technical and functional specifications.
• Prepare and carry out tests, as well as acceptance phases.
• Document corrections, changes, and analyses performed.
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams in a hybrid COBOL application environment.
• Ensure follow-up of issues until their resolution and contribute to service continuity.
   

Required profile :

• Bachelor's degree (3-5 years) to Master's degree (5 years) in IT or equivalent training.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in an Application Maintenance (TMA), application maintenance, or COBOL development environment.
• Good command of COBOL and the IBM z/OS Mainframe environment.
• Good knowledge of JCL, DB2, and CICS.
• Experience in analyzing and resolving technical and functional incidents.
• Ability to quickly understand existing applications and analyze legacy code.
• Good understanding of application maintenance and change management processes.
• Knowledge of a .NET environment is a plus.
• Functional knowledge in finance/accounting is appreciated.
