Reporting to the Treasury Manager or the Finance Department, the Junior Treasury Officer is responsible for the daily monitoring of treasury, financial flow management, and the execution of banking operations, while ensuring the optimization of the company's liquidity.
Main Missions and Responsibilities
- Flow Monitoring: Daily analysis of treasury movements
- (receipts, disbursements) in MAD and foreign currencies to determine liquidity needs.
- Cash Management: Ensure the monitoring and management of cash in foreign currencies and local currency (MAD).
- Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations regularly.
- Optimization: Ensure daily optimization of treasury balances.
- Payments: Prepare and execute payments (checks, transfers, etc.) according to client and supplier payment terms.
- Banking Relations: Ensure monitoring of current operations with banks (check deposits, execution of transfers, rejection management).
- Conditions & Security: Participate in monitoring pricing conditions and apply control procedures for fraud detection and prevention.
- Forecasts: Participate in the development and updating of treasury flow forecasts.
- Accounting: Contribute to monthly accounting closing tasks.
- Expense Reports: Verify and process the management of current expense reports.
- Archiving: Classify and archive banking documentation and payment justifications.
Required profile :
Bachelor's degree +3/5 in Management, Finance
- Accounting & Treasury Techniques: Mastery of third-party account accounting and treasury flows.
- Solid skills in financial management and analysis.
- Proficiency in computer tools and treasury management software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
