As part of our development, we are recruiting a contract manager/editor.


Functions and responsibilities
- Drafting, formatting, reviewing, and correcting:
o Framework agreements
o Contracts
o Appendices A to D
o Amendments
o Special Conditions
o Negotiation table (participate in negotiation meetings and update the table)
o Flowdowns
o Special Conditions
- Drafting of confidentiality agreements and mandates confirmations, steps that must be taken urgently as they precede the arrival of subcontractors.
- Drafting of procedures, and their updates
- Updating contract templates following:
o Changes in:
Canadian laws
CGI Management Framework
The 'Security and Acceptable Use Policy', reviewed annually by CGI (Appendix B of subcontracting contracts)
Etc.
- Methodical filing of Tasks and SharePoint. All documents, processes, actions taken, emails must be listed and secured there, as they serve as a reference and stepping stone during internal and external audits.
- Upon arrival for work: collect and validate the required insurance certificates as stipulated in subcontracting contracts:
o Commercial General Liability Insurance,
o Professional Errors and Omissions Insurance, and
o Any other insurance required by the Client, e.g., cybersecurity.
Collect insurance renewals from firms or subcontractors.


Required profile :

KEY SKILLS:
- Disciplined, wanting to understand and adhere to the Management Framework
- Tools:
o Word
o Excel
o Power Point
o SharePoint
o Strong interest in learning new tools to perform better within the Team
- Express oneself clearly and concisely
- Positive approach in interactions
- French and English: well mastered in writing and speaking
- Ability to work under pressure
- Assets:
o Previous experience in contract drafting
o Knowledge of Canadian laws.
