Job :

Reporting to the General Management, you will be responsible for managing all of the plant's production activities, while meeting productivity, quality, cost, and deadline objectives, and ensuring compliance with food hygiene and safety standards.

Your main responsibilities

• Define and implement the production program according to objectives and sales forecasts.
• Manage all seafood processing and canning operations.
• Optimize industrial yields, production capacities, and manufacturing costs.
• Ensure compliance with quality, hygiene, and food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, etc.).
• Oversee the management of raw materials, including reception, storage, and product traceability.
• Supervise equipment maintenance and ensure the availability of production lines.
• Lead, motivate, and develop production teams.
• Implement performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor results.
• Identify areas for continuous improvement and implement actions to optimize productivity.
• Ensure compliance with current regulatory requirements and the company's internal procedures.

Required profile :

• Degree in Food Science or Master's degree in Production Management
• Proven professional experience in a production management or leadership role in the food industry.
• Experience in the seafood processing industry or in canning is a major asset.
• Good understanding of industrial manufacturing, packaging, and food preservation processes.
• Good knowledge of quality and food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000).
• Strong skills in team management, production management, and continuous improvement.
• Leadership, rigor, responsiveness, organizational skills, and results-oriented.
