Job :
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you work closely with client, business, and technical teams to transform complex operational issues into concrete, secure, and actually used AI and software solutions.
You are responsible, often paired with a BPM consultant, for the complete chain from identifying a need to the effective deployment of the solution (MVP). In this role, you will:
- immerse yourself in the activities of operational teams to understand their processes, constraints, data, existing systems, and priorities;
- qualify and frame high-value use cases, considering business impact, technical feasibility, security, data quality, and industrialization capacity;
- transform an often ambiguous need into a pragmatic development path: objectives, architecture, backlog, success indicators (KPI), and initial iterations (MVP);
- design and rapidly develop functional prototypes, then evolve them into production solutions: applications, APIs, data pipelines, automations, interfaces, IT system connectors, monitoring tools, or AI workflows;
- participate in the integration of solutions into enterprise environments, including "legacy" systems and security, compliance, and governance requirements;
- contribute to the implementation of necessary operational practices: testing, CI/CD, containerization, observability, etc.;
- contribute to knowledge sharing through reusable components, methods, standards, and deployment recommendations (AI Harnessing, FinOps AI, AI security, agent orchestration, architecture, etc.).
Required profile :
Above all, you are a "builder" engineer, comfortable in demanding and imperfect environments, capable of communicating with business teams as well as development and operations teams. You enjoy understanding a business problem on the ground as much as designing, coding, integrating, debugging, and deploying a solution. You don't just produce a recommendation or a demo: you take responsibility for making a solution work in a real context and demonstrating its impact.
You ideally have:
- A Bac+5 engineering degree in computer science, AI, data science, or equivalent;
- 10 years of experience in software development, data engineering, cloud, applied AI, systems integration, or complex technological delivery, including at least 1 year on production LLM-based systems;
- Proven experience in delivering solutions in production, ideally in a telecom, B2B environment;
- Good command of Python; TypeScript or Java are a plus;
- Experience with prompt and context engineering, RAG and vector databases, fine-tuning, agent orchestration (LangGraph, MCP, Google ADK, or equivalent optional);
- Knowledge of cloud and DevOps practices: Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, and observability;
- The ability to integrate a solution into an existing IT system, considering constraints related to access, identity, cybersecurity, confidentiality, and compliance.
Your success also depends on your attitude: autonomy, curiosity, pragmatism, technical rigor, ability to prioritize, and a taste for rapid iteration.
You can clearly explain technical choices, including the limitations and risks of an AI solution, to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You are comfortable in French and English, ready to work in direct contact with clients and multicultural teams, and driven by a simple logic: transforming technological capability into measurable and sustainable operational value.
