Context:
The Orange Group has numerous datacenters in France, abroad, and in its subsidiaries for internal and external Orange clients. To ensure the management and security of the network technical environment (routers, switches, firewalls, reverse-proxies, etc.), the Automated Infrastructures domain uses bastion servers.
To improve the resilience and security of these bastion servers, new non-functional and security requirements have been defined. You will be responsible for carrying out studies to meet these requirements by proposing technical architectures before proceeding with implementation in the lab and in production.
You will be part of the Network and Security department and the tools and security product line. You will be autonomous in carrying out this project.
Missions:
- Advise on technical choices/directions for the project scope
- Write and update the DAT (Technical Architecture Dossier) for the project.
- Install and configure Linux servers
- Administer Linux servers and ensure their monitoring and resilience
- Implement technical solutions to meet security requirements in the lab and in production
- Write documentation (technical specifications, acceptance test plan, operating procedures, etc.).
- Audit the security of the project's technical components
- Challenge user practices and needs against security rules.
- Develop audit/compliance scripts
- Define the target operational model for managing these servers
Required profile :
With a Master's degree (Bac +5), you have one or more significant experiences of 5 years or more in Linux system engineering and operation.
In-depth knowledge of Linux environments is necessary and essential.
A versatility and autonomy are expected for this position.
You have technical skills in:
- LVM
- Package manager (yum, apt, rpm)
- Solid experience in shell development
- Service management (Systemd, firewalld, etc.)
- Monitoring and supervision of services/servers.
- Network protocols (ssh, scp, tftpd...)
- Git, Python, Bash
- Network knowledge (IPv4, IPv6, routing, Analysis, etc.)
- OS: Red Hat, Ubuntu
You have professional skills in:
- Project management
- Agile tools: Jira, Confluence
You have all or part of the transversal skills:
- Relational and writing skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate and exchange information
- Analytical and synthesis skills
- Be curious and not hesitate to seek information
- Be rigorous in daily work and in applying procedures
